Anime Galaxies Air Units: Every Unit That Hits Flying Enemies

Anime Galaxies air units: every unit sources say can hit flying enemies, what the hybrid label means and how to cover air early, mid and late game.

5 min readLast checked Sources

Anime Galaxies air units are the units that can hit flying enemies in this Roblox tower defense by Champions TD, and sources confirm only a few. Foji (Legendary) and Ultra Gowko (Secret) are the two a source states hit both air and ground. Destructoid adds Kitzaru, and Destructoid and MrGuider tag more units "Hybrid" without saying what that means. This page keeps the confirmed units apart from the leads. Data checked November 1, 2026.

Why Anime Galaxies air units matter

A flying enemy can only be hit by a unit whose targeting includes air, so a team of ground-only units cannot stop fliers however much damage it deals. Every guide we read points to Foji for flying enemies. No source we can read says which stage brings fliers in first, so we give no stage.

For rankings, see the Anime Galaxies tier list; for every unit's rarity and role, the Anime Galaxies units hub.

ProGameGuides says Ultra Gowko's full unlock process is still being verified, and no reliable source publishes his kit or upgrade costs.

Anime Galaxies hybrid units and the Early and Late labels

Destructoid marks six units Hybrid. MrGuider, the only list dated after Update 0.5, splits the label into Early and Late. Neither page defines it, so we do not claim Hybrid means air targeting. Treat it as a lead to check in game.

How to cover Anime Galaxies air units early, mid and late game

  • Early game: place Foji. He hits air and ground, but his slow is control, so treat him as coverage and not as your main damage. New players can start with the Anime Galaxies beginner guide.
  • Mid game: add Hybrid-tagged Mythics such as Stork or Joren only after you read their in-game description, because the label is undefined.
  • Late game: Ultra Gowko is the confirmed Secret among Anime Galaxies air units, but Event Capsules are his only known source. Sokonu (Sukuna), Zid and Goju carry MrGuider's Late Hybrid tag.

The Anime Galaxies Battle Tower shows why a backup matters. SabariBlox picked Foji for air and his slow, and placed him early. Battles stack random modifiers, including Max 4 placements, a randomly locked starting unit and unit bans; DomiBlox's run banned Sokonu. A team built around one air-capable unit can lose it for a battle. MrGuider's trait chart pairs Foji with Marksman, a range trait with no published value (Anime Galaxies traits). Update 0.5 added the tower; see Anime Galaxies Update 0.5 for the rest.

Is Foji good against flying enemies?

Every guide we read recommends him for fliers. He hits air and ground and slows enemies by 60% for 3 seconds, at most once every 6 seconds, so pair him with damage dealers.

What does hybrid mean in Anime Galaxies?

Neither Destructoid nor MrGuider defines it. Destructoid tags six units and MrGuider eight, split into Early and Late, but neither says the label means anti air.

Unknown. Sources describe Spedwag as the farm unit that earns in-run money, and none we can read states his targeting, so do not count on him against fliers.
