Anime Galaxies Traits
Every Anime Galaxies trait we have a source for, from Rare picks like Enraged and Sniper to the Mythic Galactic and Chosen, with what each does and which units the guides pair it with. Traits are chosen, not rolled: you unlock picks by putting Trait Crystals into one unit.

How Anime Galaxies traits work
Anime Galaxies traits are not random rolls. You invest Trait Crystals into a single unit, and each milestone unlocks a trait pick of a higher rarity: Rare at 10 crystals, Epic at 30, Legendary at 100 and Mythic at 400 (ProGameGuides and games.gg agree on these numbers). The Trait Changer, added in Update 0, lets you switch the active trait within a rarity you have already reached.
Because crystals are spent per unit, the guides all give the same advice: pick one main carry and take it to the Mythic milestone before spreading crystals around.
Best Anime Galaxies traits
Galactic is the trait every list puts first: about 250% more damage, but you can place only one copy of that unit. Chosen is the other Mythic pick, with extra damage, shorter cooldowns and more range and no placement limit. At Legendary, Hyper Speed (22.5% cooldown reduction) is the safe damage choice, and Bounty Hunter is the farm pick for Spedwag. MrGuider pairs Galactic with Sokonu, Roger, Zid, Itoshi, Goju and Joren.
How to get Trait Crystals
Codes are the most reliable source so far, and several give 100 or more crystals each. The Battle Tower shop added in Update 0.5 also sells Trait Crystals and a Trait Changer for Battle Points. No other steady source is confirmed yet.
