How to read the Anime Galaxies tier list
- S: carries every list puts at the top. Roger (Pirate King), Freezo, Demon King and Ultra Gowko are S on every list that ranks them.
- A: strong picks a step behind, often ranked S by one list and A or B by another.
- B: workable with the right traits, or Legendary units that fill a team until you summon better.
- C and D: mostly Epic and Rare starters. The guides say to replace them as soon as you can, except Spedwag, the farm unit.
Anime Galaxies tier list after Update 0.5
Update 0.5 arrived on October 31, 2026 with a new Secret, Bald Hero, earned in the Anime Galaxies Battle Tower. Only MrGuider ranked units after the update, and it puts Bald Hero (Serious) in its top row, so his S here rests on one vote. The other three lists are older, so newer units such as Zenith and Tango carry fewer votes. See Anime Galaxies Update 0.5 for everything the patch changed.
Units that hit flying enemies
A high spot on the Anime Galaxies tier list does not mean a unit can hit air. Foji and Ultra Gowko are confirmed to hit both air and ground, and the Anime Galaxies air units guide lists every unit the sources call hybrid. Build a team around one S carry, a farm unit and one air answer, then put your Trait Crystals into the carry; the Anime Galaxies traits page shows which pick to unlock first.

Roger (Pirate King), Freezo, Demon King and Ultra Gowko are S on every list that ranks them, and Update 0.5's Bald Hero (Serious) is in the top row of the one list written after the update. For a farm unit, every list picks Spedwag.
Is this Anime Galaxies tier list updated for Update 0.5?
Partly. MrGuider's list was rebuilt after Update 0.5 on November 1, 2026. The games.gg, ProGameGuides and Destructoid lists date from October 18 to 30, before the update, so units added in 0.5 are ranked by one list only.
How is this tier list made?
We read four published tier lists, recorded each list's letter for every unit and took the middle one. When the lists split evenly the lower tier wins, so a unit needs a majority to rank higher. It is not our own opinion or test. New units and fresh lists are added as they appear; the Anime Galaxies codes page has the gems to summon them.
How these tiers are set
Every tier here is a vote count, not our opinion. We read each published Anime Galaxies tier list we could find, recorded its letter for every entry, and took the middle one. When the lists split evenly, the lower tier wins: an entry needs a majority to rank higher. Where the lists sit two or more tiers apart the entry is marked contested, and the chips show who said what and when.
Lists dated before a balance patch can lag the current game. The latest balance patch is Update 0.5 (2026-10-31). Added the Battle Tower, the Secret Bald Hero and a new Auto Play. Only lists that say they were rebuilt for it are marked post-patch below.
