When Anime Galaxies Update 0.5 came out
Update 0.5 was released on October 31, 2026. An in-game countdown targeted 00:52 ET (04:52 UTC), and MrGuider confirms that date. The Roblox page now reads Anime Galaxies | UPDATE 0.5.
Roblox also shows the game was updated again on November 1 at 11:54 UTC. No source describes what changed, and new codes appeared the same day. The earlier Update 0 landed around October 27; our Anime Galaxies updates page keeps the timeline. The developers say new content arrives in the update-logs and announcements channels of the Anime Galaxies Discord, and that is where the official notes are.
Battle Tower
The headline addition is a mode open to every player. You win five-wave battles in a row to earn Battle Points, spend them in a shop and climb a weekly leaderboard, and the tower gets much harder the higher you go. Bald Hero and Bald Hero (Serious)
Bald Hero (Saitama) is the new Secret unit, a One Punch Man parody. DomiBlox reads the in-game panel: clear battle 50 in the Battle Tower, then buy him in the Battle Points shop. A pricier Shiny Bald Hero unlocks after you buy the normal one.
Bald Hero (Serious) is his evolved form. You evolve him with the Serious Glove, which gives him a Serious Punch active ability, a new passive and cosmetics, including a gold aura. The glove is crafted in the Evolutions crafting menu from DNA, Dark Essence, Earth Essence, Fire Essence, Light Essence and Wind Essence. The amounts have not been shown in a source we can read yet.
MrGuider's November 1 tier list, the only one of the four we track dated after the update, puts Bald Hero (Serious) in its top META row and calls him an Early Hybrid, a label sources do not define. New Anime Galaxies Auto Play and quality-of-life changes
DomiBlox and RustScroll both highlight the new Auto Play. It is set up per map and saved. The rest of the changes, as DomiBlox lists them:
- Auto Play styles: Balance, Greedy, Safe or Rush.
- Auto Play rules: upgrade first, farm first, place everyone first, sell farms at the end, use ultimates, target the boss and careful skipping.
- Auto Play setup: set a placement order or record your own placements like a macro, then choose how many runs to repeat. A log tracks wins, losses, gems and coins.
- Unit Manager: track upgrades and start units in the middle of a match.
- Storage upgrades: buy more unit slots with gold.
- Interface: active abilities have their own button next to the upgrade panel, and new markers sit above lobby NPCs. Rocket also got a flame cosmetic.
The Haunt: the Anime Galaxies Halloween event
The Haunt runs until November 7. Get takedowns in any match to unlock event cosmetics. DomiBlox's event panel lists looks for Foji (Policeman), Zid (Reaper) and a Pop Star King.
New units and codes in Anime Galaxies Update 0.5
ProGameGuides lists these names from the patch notes: Krillin (Rare), Nobara (Epic), and Future Trunks, Shinobu, Rock Lee and Joseph Joestar (Legendary). The in-game names are unconfirmed and no kits are published yet, so the Anime Galaxies units list only shows what we can confirm.
